costume turchese con piccoli fioricini stampati comprato dopo mesi di
lavoro.
Ho adorato
gli anni '50...
noi giovani
eravamo curiosi, desiderosi di scoprire il mondo;
eravamo
felici, forse perché ancora riuscivamo a entusiasmarci per le
piccole, per voi ormai scontate, azioni della quotidianità. ”

Mi diverto
così a fingere di essere lei; ventenne in
un mondo che è tornato a sperare dopo essersi rialzato dalla guerra; ventenne che
per la prima volta scopre la televisione, una scatola chiusa da un
vetro dalla quale si può osservare il mondo; ventenne che
raggiunge il mare con una lambretta, mamma, babbo e magari qualche
fratello; ventenne nei
mitici anni '50!
Sogno così,
come in un film di Woody Allen, di vivere in quella realtà... di
innamorarmi di Marlon Brando, James Dean, Cary Grant, attori dal
fascino immortale... di imitare e
perché no un po' invidiare la bellezza e lo stile delle uniche vere
dive mai esistite: Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot. Grace Kelly... di veder
spopolare le Pin Up con i loro abiti a pois, i loro décolleté
mostrati da ampie scollature che scoprono le spalle, i loro vitini da
vespa messi in risalto da sottili cinturini stretti al punto vita.

I
have fun pretending to be her, twenty-year-old
in a world that has gone back to hope after the war; twenty-years-old
that for the first time discovers the television, a box closed by a
glass from which she can observe the world; twenty-year-old
that gets to the sea with a Lambretta and the entire family; twenty-year-old
in the great Fifties!
I
dream, as in a film of Woody Allen, to live in that reality.... to
fall in love with Marlon Brando, James Dean, Cary Grant, actors from
the everlasting charm... to
imitate and ,why not, to envy the beauty and the style of the only
real divas: Marilyn, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly... to
see the Pin Up's success with their dresses with pois, their
décolleté shown by large neckline that expose the shoulders and
their wasp-waist highlighted by thin belts tight around the waist.
